Over 100,000 home routers hacked via UPnP vulns

According to 360 Netlab, the malware exploits vulnerabilities in a Broadcom UPnP implementation to infect vulnerable gateways, meaning many router manufacturers are affected because their kit uses that technology.

Billion, D-Link, Linksys, Technicolor, TP-Link, ZTE, Zyxel, and Australian supplier NetComm, plus a few devices supplied under ISP brands like CenturyLink and Australian ISP iiNet identified as infected by the malware, which amounts to a total of 116 models.
